questions
- What do you do?
Echo Trade/Marketing Inc. are mass importers or mass wholesalers,
that carries over 2000 products at or below wholesale prices.
We say mass importers because we carry a large range of
products from designer sunglasses to Flat Screen T.V’s.
and DVD’s. Most importers specialize in one type of
product (like a linen importer). Where as we specialize
in a variety of merchandise. Not open to the public, we
sell to stores, corporations and through our agents.
- What Warranties are there on a product?
Every product has its own warranty some for 30 days others
for a year and still others for a lifetime (see our 5 ply
surgical stainless steel waterless cookware sets). The only
thing we do not warranty are our designer sunglasses. All
warranties are either through the manufacturer or through
us. Call or email for specific information.
- How does delivery work? And do you drop ship?
If you pick up the products that you ordered from our showroom,
then there are no shipping charges. If the product is shipped
to you or if you would like drop shipping, that can be done
across United States and Canada for the cost of shipping.
We use UPS, Canada Post, Grey Hound and Common Carrier.
- What do you accept as payment?
Cash, credit card, or money order on your first order(s) once
we get to know you we will take your cheque. We do not accept
interac.
- Can I get colour copies/brochures of your products?
We are working on a part colour catalogue, of course product
information via email is all in colour.
More than _ of our products are in our wholesale catalogue.
To really stay on top of what we do, you should have a good
email connection with sufficient band width to be able to
receive new products, pictures etc. Most of our greatest
electronics opportunities are only really known about via
email or coming into our showroom or calling us they never
make our catalogue.
- How can I sell or market the products?
There are many ways and really that part of it is up to
you. But some of the ways our products are being sold is
as follows:
a) direct sales to retail stores
b) corporate sales, products used at trade shows, promotional
gifts etc..
c) mail order
d) export
e) sales at a flea market
f) agent selling to the vendors at a flea market
g) door to door
h) to your own community, church group, club, office etc..
i) fund raising
j) agents selling direct to their customers using our showroom
- Are most of your products available on an on-going
basis or one time only?
We don’t buy from liquidators; we buy from the manufacturer
so that we can offer products that have both warranties
and a continual supply for our customers. Most of our electronics
however, are available for a limited time as we switch up
the inventory. So if it is electronics, don’t wait!
- Do you have specials?
Not usually, but sometimes products are discontinued and
reduced even below wholesale.
- How does your pricing work?

- Is everything in the catalogue or website that
you sell?
No, most things are but there are 2 more things you should
know. First, we add new things all the time, so our catalogue
is always being updated. Secondly, most of our high end
electronics such as Televisions, DVD’s, Stereo Systems
etc are available for a limited time and usually sell out
within 5 days or so. Sometimes we get more other times we
don’t for a while. So if you like one of our 36”
Televisions, don’t delay order right away, because
it will probably be gone!
- What Restaurant / Hotel supplies do you carry?
Our showroom and catalogue only show a few of the hundreds
of pieces we have for this section. We have supplied hotels,
restaurants and resorts with dishes, flatware, glasses and
kitchen cooking products. Generally we will bring in a sample
in our showroom or email a picture for specific items. The
White Porcelain Commercial Dish Set is common for restaurants.
We also have a line of Commercial Grade Cleaning detergents
that are different…these cleaning detergents are packaged
in tiny bags (like tea bags). Very concentrated simply throw
a bag in a bucket of water for powerful cleaning action.

- What about returns?
Because we allow you to purchase samples or smaller quantities
we do not accept returns in anything other than our P. Wells
watches that have a special return policy set up by the
manufacturer. If you need specific information about that
simply ask us.
- Can I call in orders or do I have to come in?
Once we know you, you can order via phone or fax or email.
If it is shipped out to you or drop shipped then the order
must be pre-paid. If it is picked up, then simply pay as
you receive the products. If the product is going to take
a few days in arriving then you must leave a deposit on
your order!
- What are your showroom hours?
Our showroom is generally open Monday to Friday 11 Am to
3 pm. If you need to come in and make an appointment for
a specific time, just call us. Often starting in fall, we
will be open on some Saturday’s because of the Christmas
rush. Call us for exact times.
- How do we find your showroom?
See the map below. We are right beside the Toronto
International Airport (Pearson Airport) - In Mississauga,
Ontario. Our Showroom is located at the North East corner
of Dixie and Britannia. Dixie runs between the 401 and the
407. In fact the main doors at the front of the building
face Dixie not Britannia (even though we have a Britannia
address). Showroom is up on the second floor.
